As the steward for the Canadian Environmental workforce across all industries, ECO Canada offers employment programs that stimulate environmental career pathways, skill development, business growth, workforce support and workforce advancement through wage and training funding.
For the following programs please ensure you are completing this application if you have your candidate starting before November 15,2025 for our Science Horizons and Youth in Natural Resources Program and before February 15th, 2026, for our Co-op Program.
Here’s how the program works:
- Click APPLY and find out if you qualify by completing the pre-qualification form
- If the APPLY button is not visible, ensure your organization name appears in the top left corner. If it is missing, create an organization profile first.
- If you are eligible, you will gain access to the entire application. Complete each piece.
- Receive approval from ECO Canada’s Employment Programs team.
- Hire your new employee who has also completed an application and pre-qualified for funding.
- Complete the contract between ECO Canada and your organization sent via DocuSign.
- Complete the assigned reports within SurveyMonkey Apply according to the scheduled times indicated on the agreement.
- Receive funding installments at the scheduled times.
